They helped us with research on the Empire State Express Project (The original benefactor before the attack on Sept 11...) by providing some much needed info and photos. They are a nonprofit group so any donations may be written off as a charitable donation. Groups like NYCSHS provide a valuable service by keeping, maintaining and restoring pieces of Railroad equipment as well as other objects. They insure that future generations will be able to view ,enjoy and understand Railroad history for years to come.
