New Screenshot Contest - Your Chance to Win Watercolor Art!

To kick-off the new screenshot gallery, we're announcing the start of a new screenshot contest.

The BIG prize - An original Watercolor painted by VR Horton! This is the original artwork used to create one of the postcards in the American Classics Train Sim Pack. Only one lucky winner will be choosen!

VR Horton is a classically trained artists who has a 40+ year career as a commercial artist and illustrator as well as being a fine artist specializing in watercolor renderings of railroads of the 20's thru the 60's.

His artwork is in the hands of such collectors as: Union Pacific Railroad, State of Nevada, Nevada Governor's Mansion, and private collections in the US and abroad.

This is a highly valuable piece of artwork painted on archive quality acid-free cold press 300lb paper stock, ready for framing. The size - 17"x10.5". No telling what this artwork maybe worth in the future...

Screenshots will be judged on their artistic qualities, realism, use of TA equipment and overall appeal.

Contest Rules

1. All entries must be produced by the submitter.

2. Entries must be submitted in either .gif, .pcx, or .jpg format.

3. Entries can be submitted as e-mail attachments or html links. E-mails must include the submitters name (or nickname) and a title for the screenshot. On the subject line, please put "Contest". Also, include your shipping address - if you do win, we'll need a place to ship the painting to...Entries should be e-mailed to: tagallery@charter.net

4. All shots must feature a Train Artisan product.

5. Screenshots which have been altered, and/or graphically enhanced are ineligible. You can, however, do tricky camera angles in the MSTS screenshot...

6. You can enter as many times as you want...just realize that we will only choose the last Entry you submitted for inclusion in the Contest gallery and for consideration as the winning entry.

The Fine Print...

Train Artisan Team members and associates are not eligible to compete. Train Artisan reserves the right to crop images for size and shape; reject entries which in it's discretion are inappropriate, distastful, or do not comply with the contest rules; and to rotate out published entries should the quantity of submissions become excessive. The majority decision of the voting judges is final.

The hot picture of the week will be choosen by the members of Train Artisan from among submissions and entries or from the web.
